President and Founder
Priscilla Smith-Trudeau, RN DC MSM BSN CRRN CCM is President and founder of Wealth in Diversity Consulting. For more than 25 years, Priscilla has been a health care leadership strategist, change agent, consultant, educator, author and speaker. Her mission is to educate individuals and teams about workforce diversity and management change. She consults with individuals and teams offering an appreciative inquiry approach to leadership, team development, conflict resolution, strategic recruitment and retention planning, and culturally competent customer service.
As a specialist in cultural values in the workplace and leading management practices, Priscilla uses her transformational leadership model, Transforming Leaders and Teams at All Levels: A Model for Creating and Sustaining Positive Change© as a framework for guiding organizational change as a vital resource leading to increased creativity, innovation and enhanced leader and team effectiveness. Priscilla writes and speaks extensively on workforce diversity issues and is the author of Peaceful Warrior Nurse.
She is a graduate of Thomas Edison State College with a Masters in Management and Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of the State of New York. She is certified in conflict resolution, rehabilitation nursing and crisis intervention counseling. She is an associate faculty member of the Nurses' Training College in Ghana, West Africa where she instructs nursing students on cultural competence and a clinical associate in the nursing program for Vermont Technical College.
Gerard D. Hevey, MBA has twenty-years of experience in health care combining his business knowledge and clinical practice to assist organizations in bringing about the necessary organizational growth and changes to effectively align diversity initiatives with strategic business goals. After serving his country in the Navy he obtained an MBA from Edinburgh School of Business, Heriot-Watt University. He has worked and lived in the Philippines, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, and Mexico, which uniquely enables him to accommodate and value the differences of our client needs. Gerard's greatest strength is working with executive teams helping them meet the challenge of anticipating, understanding, and managing the needs and issues that emerge from evolving diverse business environments. The essence of his work is established on the understanding of diversity as the key strategic bottom line business issue for organizations. Gerard helps clients to design and implement collaborative, strength-based approaches to strategic planning, business process innovation, change leadership, organization design, and strategic communications.
Heather A. Martin, MSN BSN CNRN is an affiliate consultant working with clients to deliver solutions specific to clients' needs, desired outcomes, and timelines. Heather uses her creativity and insight to help organizations apply appropriate strategies for managing cross-generational groups, and identify future workplace issues that will dominate interactions among the generational groups. She assists in the design and facilitation of cross-generational workforce education and offers practical guidelines for building a harmonious workforce where people rally together for the organization, not against each other. She excels at developing colorful multi-media presentations, easy to understand and makes key topics in the diversity come alive.
Heather received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Vermont and a Masters of Science in Nursing Administration and Education from the University of Phoenix. She currently serves as a clinical faculty member at Colby Sawyer College in New London, NH. She is a Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse and maintains a clinical practice at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center's Neuroscience Special Care Unit in Lebanon, NH.
Patricia Densmore, RN BS FNP MSA LNC CCP is senior consultant with an extensive background and expertise collaborating with organizations towards strategic change using a continuous quality improvement philosophy. She is an experienced registered nurse who has held senor clinical and administrative positions in agencies of human service, long term and home care settings. She is a graduate of the University of Vermont and St. Michael's College with a Masters in the Science of Administration. She has practiced in New Hampshire, Vermont, Alaska and Japan.
Ms. Densmore has been successful in guiding clients to create a culture that supports their organization's vision, mission, values and business imperatives. She serves healthcare organizations by offering consultation and professional training towards improving health care processes in a way that is expected to improve overall quality. Her services include assessing organizations to improve their performance through quality leadership; providing risk management analysis, support and education; and assessing systems of care identifying potential areas for improvement. She enjoys the challenge of bringing organizations up to peak performance.
